Visitors can get to grips with the new Chafer Interceptor and Sentry at the National Self-Propelled sprayer demo event

The new Chafer Interceptor brings new levels of efficiency and usability to the medium sized self- propelled market.

A powerful Deutz engine coupled to the advanced Bosch Rexroth CVT transmission minimises fuel use and ensures traction is maximised on individual wheels in all conditions. When on the road the engine reduces RPM to achieve the chosen forward speed, this keeps fuel use low and engine noise down. The cab is spacious, comfortable and designed for maximum productivity. Chassis and spray pack layouts offer excellent stability by keeping the centre of gravity low, whilst retaining excellent accessibility for operation and servicing.

The new Chafer trailed sprayer range is engineered to a common design to offer huge spraying output and performance, combined with absolute precision and control. Each sprayer is packed with innovative features and systems to increase efficiency and spray timeliness whilst safeguarding the operator environment and the operator.

Sprayers and spray operators have to work longer and harder than ever before, so a range of the latest electronic control systems are available to aid operation and maximise performance.
