Stage V engines for Knight Self Propelled machines

Knight Farm Machinery is ensuring all its self-propelled sprayers are ‘future-proofed’ regarding engine emissions by introducing Stage V engines across the entire range.

Stage V European emission standards require improved filtration to reduce emissions of the ultra-fine and submicron particles of soot that can be dangerous to human health using a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

Knight uses the 7.0 litre, six-cylinder Perkins 1206J engines in all machines, with the larger 2000 series models being fitted with a 225hp engine as standard, with the option for purchasers to choose anything up to 300hp if they wish.

For the 1800 series machines Knight offers a 174hp as standard, with the more powerful 225hp engine being offered as an option.
