This year the working spray rig on the Syngenta stand (Hall 10 Stand 10.300) is focussed on spring grass weed control. It will give an essential practical insight into the challenging techniques and timing for wild oat and ryegrass control, highlighted.
“Timing of herbicides, rates used and application technique need to be adapted according to the size of the crop canopy, weed growth stage and conditions,” he advised. “With this year’s protracted autumn establishment campaign, which could extend well into the winter, variable crop growth stages will add to the complexity and require a more flexible approach.
