Long term support from Househam

British spraying manufacturer, Househam, launched a new customised product support package at Cereals 2019.

Designed to reassure customers that there will be long-term care in an uncertain agricultural climate, with continuity of parts and maintenance, the five-year product support package will result in increased productivity and reduced costs.

“We’re positive that we will have continuity of supply and services going forward, whatever the political outcome, and launching a personalised support package for our 100% British-manufactured sprayers will help farmers to get even better value and longevity from the machines,” says Robert Willey, Househam managing director.

“The initiative will give new customers access to expert advice from trained technicians, replacement of wear parts and competitive prices for original parts as well as routine maintenance guidance,” says Robert.

As well as launching the package, the Lincolnshire-based machinery supplier will be demonstrating its full range of UK-engineered and operator-inspired machines on stand 800 at the show, including working demonstrations in the sprayer’s arena.

Robert Willey, managing director of Househam, said: “Cereals is a highlight in our calendar every year, and it’s a must for any agricultural business. We’ll have our full range of self-propelled sprayers on display, demonstrating our industry leading technology in the arena so farmers can see first-hand the efficiency of our future-proofed machinery.”

Househam has introduced a number of advanced machines in the last two years, including the operator-inspired HARRIER, launched at Cereals 2018. The ‘next generation’ machine comes fitted with Househam’s trademark Total Machine Control (TMC) V3 and FieldMaster GPS advanced on-board operating system, delivering what its makers believe to be the most efficient and precise sprayer application in its class.

Featured at Cereals 2019 was the popular SPIRIT which was updated last year to fill a significant gap in the market for high technology, low weight, entry-level self-propelled machines. The company is also showcasing some of its best-selling, highly versatile Air Ride models, which promise to boost on-farm productivity.

Also appearing at the show was the PREDATOR, weighing 10,440 kg unladen, it’s the biggest machine in the Househam range. Launched in 2017, it’s lighter than other sprayers in its class while still using the latest large wheel and tyre technology to reduce ground pressure.

Househam’s latest innovations include level 4 filtration system in the cab, Individual Nozzle Control (INC), Auto Nozzle Select (ANS) and Househam’s Total Machine Control (TMC) V5 Controller with FieldMaster GPS mapping and guidance, available subject to model specifications.
